Starting this Sunday, I will begin a brand new series from the Book of Titus on Leadership.
Leadership is essential in the home, work, community, and church. Everything rises and falls on leadership. John Quincy Adams said, “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”
Paul wrote a short letter to Titus to instruct him in how to develop leaders among the members of the churches Titus served on the island of Crete. This series will help us prepare for a task of leadership -- get us game ready, to begin a life of serving God. We learn what it takes to make the cut (the qualifications of a leader); how to develop the most essential leadership habit (practice makes perfect), and how to develop the mindset of a leader (choosing a game plan).
